Golden Sand Oceanfront Hotel

We had a very pleasant stay here. Condo style rooms on 2nd floor with a rooftop patio. Full kitchen and refrigerator were definitely a plus. We like to stay at these smaller more quaint types of vacation spots over busy hotels. This place was perfect. Tony and his staff were exceptionally accommodating. They checked in on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were clean, kitchen was stocked with essentials, lots of towels and beach towels and access to beach chairs. Condo is directly on the boardwalk just steps from the beach. Tons of restaurants, shops and more all right in that area. We look forward to booking again.

Copied from my Expedia review The room was great, Tony was on the ball like a boss on everything:-) took care of everything and I was impressed. The good thing that I did like was it was a locked gate to enter, so there was good security on that. I have to mention as I was unaware and may not have noticed when I booked that parking is $25 a day. I have no regrets. Bonus was there is no front desk. There is a number you call and he communicated by phone and by text. So basically, checking in was almost instant. Though you still have to wait for your room to be ready which was at 2 pm for me. ,:-)

Tony is very kind and accommodating. Five stars for the convenience of checking in and out anytime over the phone/texts instead of the usual long wait lines at hotel front desk. Basic clean rooms nothing fancy, well worth it for the price and location! My room came with a cold AC, smart TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, plates and cups, and a bunch of towels for personal use and two beach towels. Also, beach chair is provided!

I was a little nervous booking through a third party, so I called ahead and the man I spoke with immediately put me at ease. He was very informative and communicated clearly when needed. The room itself was perfect—very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering how busy the area is. I slept great, and the shower was excellent. There were also some thoughtful little touches that weren’t necessary but were appreciated (like big coffee cups!). The location couldn’t be better. I honestly don’t want to stay anywhere else when I come to Hollywood!

We just needed one night after a cruise, but when we arrived we wanted to stay another week! I will only come here from now on. Tony was great so helpful and kind. Hoping he sees this and hooks me up on our next stay which will be for a week this view is incredible … food everywhere and stores all in the only draw back was about 25 stairs ( we had hella luggage from a cruise ) otherwise it would of been fine. even then Tony said he would find us help.

I needed a to find a room on short notice. Management was very helpful and responsive. The room was clean with no problems. The outside common sitting area was an amazing view of the ocean right on the boardwalk. I would stay here again for a longer stay. It’s a very convenient area to be in. Once you get there, you can walk or bike to many places. Thanks for providing a great stay!

My husband and I stayed for an extended weekend. It was such a gorgeous location right on the boardwalk. The staff was excellent. Beach towels and chairs were provided to us. We could not be happier with the experience. We will definitely be back!

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WANT TO THANK PROJECT MANAGER, TONY FOR HIS PERSONAL SERVICE. I THOUGHT I WAS BOOKING THROUGH THE HOTEL, BUT I BOOKED A ROOM THROUGH A 3RD PARTY (ACCIDENTY, THE WEBSITES HAVE THE HOTEL NAME, SO BE CAREFUL). IT STATED CLEARLY ROOM WAS ABLE TO BE CANCELED. I LOOKED FOR FURTHER INFORMATION BUT SAW NONE. I NOTED I NEEDED A FIRST FLOOR DUE TO HANDICAP GUEST. TONY CALLED ME TO EXPLAIN THEY ONLY HAD 2nd floor rooms. that minute I WENT TO THEIR (3RD PARTY) WEBSITE TO CANCEL, AND WAS NOTIFIED I WOULD NOT BE REFUNDED THE $800 UPON CALLING THE 3rd PARTY I WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. I TOLD THEM I NEEDED A HANDICAPP ROOM AND NOTED SO ON THE WEBSITE . I CALLED TONY AT THE HOTEL, HE EXPLAINED WHAT I NEEDED TO DO. ON THE 2ND CALL TO THIRD PARTY THEY CONTACTED THE HOTEL. THIS CALL TO TONY HELPED ME CLEAR IT UP, AND GET A REFUND. THANK YOU, TONY. I WILL VISIT YOUR HOTEL WHEN I DO NOT HAVE MY HANDICAP SISTER WITH ME. THAT IS WHAT I CALL GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
